Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrive at Kasol and Trek to Grahan (7700 FT, 8 Kms Trek)
Arrive in Kasol and commence the trek to Grahan Village.
Trek distance: 8 km, Duration: 4-5 hours.
Trail alongside Grahan nalah, through pine forests with a gentle ascent.
Gradual transition to a rocky and uphill path moving away from the river.
Forest rich in Rhododendrons.
Steep climb to reach Grahan Village.
Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
Day 2 :
Grahan to Mung Thach (11150 FT, 7 Kms Trek)
Trek from Grahan to Mung Thach.
Trek distance: 7 km, Duration: 4-5 hours.
Trail used by villagers for their livestock, steep and through the woods.
Beautiful views of Mung Thach, Nagaru, and Sar Top.
Campsite at Mung Thach.
Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
Day 3 :
Mung Thach to Nagaru (12470 FT, 8 Kms Trek)
Trek to Nagaru, the highest campsite.
Trek distance: 8 km, Duration: 4-6 hours.
Short but difficult trek with a steep trail, some parts might be under snow.
Beautiful mountain views across the Parvati valley.
Chilling winds at Nagaru campsite.
Night in tents.
Day 4 :
Nagaru – Sar Pass (13850 FT) – Biskeri Thach (11000 FT, 14 Kms Trek)
Early start for a long trek to Biskeri Thach via Sar Pass.
Steep climb through the snow with views of Tosh Valley.
Thrilling views from Sar Pass top.
Packed lunch at Sar Pass.
Descent to Biskeri Thach through dense Rhododendron trees.
Trek distance: 14 km, Duration: 6-8 hours.
Dinner and overnight stay in tents at Biskeri Thach.
Day 5 :
Biskeri Thach to Barshaini and Drive Back to Kasol (8 Kms Trek)
Last day on the Sar Pass trek.
Spectacular views of pine forests, grasslands, and the Himalayas from Biskeri Thach.
Downhill trek through dense pine forests.
Reach Barshaini, across Parvati River, and drive back to Kasol.
Trek distance: 8 km, Duration: Late afternoon.
Plan departure from Kasol accordingly.
