Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrival at Lohajung
Distance: 294 km (Dehradun to Lohajung) Duration: 11-12 hours Journey through Kumaon region into the Garhwal Himalayas. Pass three confluences of the Alaknanda river: Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag. Reach Lohajung by late evening.
Day 2 :
Lohajung to Gujreni/Lower Bekaltal
Distance: 6 km Duration: 4-5 hours Trek starts at 9 AM, heading into the forest. Pass Mandoli village and ascend gradually with views of Nanda Ghunti Peak. Reach Gujreni/Lower Bekaltal campsite by afternoon. Enjoy the seclusion and surroundings.
Day 3 :
Gujreni/Lower Bekaltal to Brahmatal
Distance: 5 km Duration: 4-5 hours Trek through forests with a moderate ascent. Reach Bekaltal lake and continue through Oak and Rhododendron forests. Reach Talindi Top and Jhandi Top for stunning views. Descend to Brahmatal campsite; explore Brahmatal Lake.
Day 4 :
Brahmatal to Brahmatal Top and back to Brahmatal
Distance: 6 km Duration: 4 hours Early start, leaving backpacks at the campsite. Reach Brahmatal lake and ascend to the final ridge. Enjoy breathtaking views of snow-capped mountain ranges. Return to the campsite for the night.
Day 5 :
Brahmatal to Lohajung
Distance: 11 km Duration: 7-8 hours Descend back to Lohajung following the same route. Pass through Oak and Rhododendron forests, shepherd huts, and mountain villages. Reach Lohajung by evening, explore the village, and witness the sunset.
Day 6 :
Departure from Lohajung
Distance: 294 km Duration: 11-12 hours Start for Dehradun early in the morning. Pass through Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag. Expect to reach ISBT Dehradun by 6-7 PM.
